The first game my mom ever bought for my birthday present...It's been like too many years now :) RIP mom, this music always make me think of her more ❤ nostalgic.

My mother got this game for me as a Christmas gift back in 2001. But this game was really hard and I never finished it. Mom passed away due to cancer a few months going to pick this up again and finish the game for good!

This one is my fucking favorite. The puzzles are cryptic, the atmosphere is top notch, the sound design and music is incredible. Peak of the series.

I love how creative main menu is
this is just that kind of main menu that you want to sit infront of and just stare at it for long moments

Such nice times, I can't belive almost 15 years passed since then. As a kid I remember watching my mother play through all five games, I loved every minute of it, especially The Last Revelation. And the music, oh sweet lord of the apple pies the music is enveloping my heart it's almost hurting. Those good times have passed, but at least I know what I will be playing to my children, hopefully :]

One of the bests games that I ever played in my childhood, this was also a very difficult and LONG one. It's sad that there are no games like this in these times

The best Tomb Raider from all saga...ever, ever, ever

In my humble opinion, one of the best Tomb Raider ever. Even higher than TR2 and TR3. I have been playing TR since 1997 (I don't want to consider the Tomb Raider made in the USA...) and I think this chapter is brilliant, enigmatic, fascinating, complicated, sentimental, engaging, magical.. it never makes you tired of playing it.. the only one that comes closest to the only TRUE Tomb Raider, that of 1996. If Nathan McCree had orchestrated this too, it would be a 120% Masterpiece. Anyway, the main song is sad, nostalgic and poignant... it's as if it hinted that something sad could happen soon, and actually it happens... it's almost like saying goodbye to the player and at the whole TR series; the images of the main menu and the song create an aura of legend around to the whole video game, around its breathtaking scenery and, above all, around the figure of Lara.. who, unlike the other three previous chapters, appears as always determined and fearless, but this time she reveals a human and weak side, making her sometimes also very cute ❤ A unique chapter of its kind, which has surely breached the hearts of many people around the world and which, after more than twenty years, is certainly still remembered with great

For some reason, this used to scare me when I was about 3 or 4.

Hearing this theme touches my soul in a way no boy, no best friend, no mentor has ever been able to. This theme (as well as the rest) are etched into my soul like hieroglyphics 😩

The days when gaming wasn't dumbed down and simplified.

I remember my father helping me with this game when I tried to play it, because he played it before me. These were happy times

The melodic parts of this theme make me feel so nostalgic, brings me back to a time where my father and I would play all the tomb raider games.

This game took me years to finish when I was a kid, I loved every second of it.

I remember as a kid, I didn’t have access to internet (Internet in Brazil wasn’t a big thing at that time) but I was so involved in this game that I befriended one of the rich kids from the neighborhood so I could use his computer to look up how to get through the City of the Dead level. Man, at that point I had tried everything a 10 years old could’ve tried. I remember he didn’t have a printer and I wrote everything by hand over several days hahaha I still have my notes from it! I keep it with my personal copy of the game. PURE NOSTALGIA
