It's amazing to watch their progression from "Nancy Boy" to serious and incredible songwriters as well as incredible human beings. Not many bands make it this far and leave such a mark on their listeners as do Placebo. There is a really apparent and urgent sincerity in Brian's voice in this new song. The album will no doubt be incredible.

I've loved Placebo from their very beginning. Through the hard times, and now through the good ones as well. This may be VERY different from what they used to do before, but it's still freaking epic and I get chills just by watching this teaser. All these people are in a different place in their life. They've matured since they're first album. I think it's wonderful they show that change throughout their songs. You want them to fake sadness? Dont be daft. And besides their old albums are still there for you to listen to.

for me its more about the fact that theyve never been a "we are loud like love"-type of band and thats why i fell in love with them in the first place.
