I had a ticket for speeding via pacing, and I asked about the police car speedometer and when it was calibrated, they said from the factory, I said any device has to be calibrated to verify accuratacy. The judge said. ( I believe the officer and you have to pay the fine. ) There was video but it did not show how fast the vehicles were moving and this was in town. I even asked why radar detectors have to be calibrated and pointed out that Speedometers also have to. O well. I paid my fine. This was about 5 years ago.

I got pulled over recently, when I asked officer how he measured my speed, he said he paced me. But on the ticket, it said radar as speed measuring device. Does this make sense here or this can be used to defend me?

I got a ticket yesterday for speeding. He put pacing but was in front of me (like way in front of me). Dont you have to be behind someone to pace?

I just got a pacing ticket and I think I'm going to try and fight this one myself it's no points $120 ticket so worse I lose and partly the ticket. Just need to figure out how to subpoena
