Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on September 4 it was important to speak with soldiers going “into battle directly” and stressed support for them. The Ukrainian leader spoke in a video from an unknown location, as footage of him purportedly visiting injured soldiers and handing medals to military personnel was released.
