Richmond is probably one of the most underrated players in history, definitely from his era though

Crazy thing is a lot of teams in the league play this style now, ahead of their time.

Mitch Richmond was such an underrated SG. His jumper was so pure like Ken Griffey Jr's swing. I wouldn't feel too bad for Mitch being traded to Sacramento. His jersey number is retired there.

I am no bandwagon fan and you know why, i remember in 1991 when i was in the philippines as an 8 yr old m my dad will wake me up at 3 am just to watch chris mullin plays . Because of the 14 hrs difference it was difficult for me to wake up that early . But i was just a big fan of run tmc that no matter what time it was, i will not miss any warriors game

They were exciting to watch. Mitch Richmond was the most underrated shooting guard in the league. Behind MJ and Clyde. He was snubbed for many all star appearances, which was the biggest crime of all.

That was a crazy trade. You had a backcourt already and a small forward you couldn't build around that

Don Nelson actually had the Milwaukee Bucks in the early to mid 1980's ROLLING. The inverted offense with the "Big men" spreading the floor, giving the wings and guards and wing players space, all purpose forwards that could handle and distribute.... "Nellie" was ALWAYS one of my favorite coaches. He was a great coach.
▪️Those Warriors teams were GREAT, and hella entertaining to watch.

Tim Hardaway was the most idolized of the trio because of his "Killer Crossover." Then he said some homophobic things. He's the only one of Run TMC who isn't in the HoF.

Was so disappointed when Mitch was traded for Billy Owens.
Billy Owens was NOT THE NEXT MAGIC JOHNSON!!!! Who the hell did the scouting report on that!!

As a Bay Area kid back then, Run TMC was what us kids were trying to emulate on the playground. We loved our guys and were heartbroken when Nelson broke it up. Us kids could not understand.

Another example of why coaches can't be Coach & GM
Donny could do one, but not the other, but wanted that control

Run TMC was the coolest nickname in sports it had the hip hop element and incorporated the three big stars. It was perfect. People talk about the We believe Warriors, the original Splash Bros era, the KD era, and now the return of the splash bros era/Steph Curry Era, but Run TMC was why I became a Warriors fan. Growing up in the bay area. People where I lived still loved the Lakers because its a Cali team, and my dad and my two older siblings are from Detroit so the Bad Boys were big in my house, and they are definitely my east team. But the Warriors were my guys. I hated when Mitch went to the Kings and Tim Hardaway went to the Heat they were my favorite players I always played as Mitch in video games he had a deadly jump shot

Was building around TMC not an option? They had chemistry, they had unique style to defend and they had the fan base going crazy for them. Smh that was dumb trade.

If they made it to the Finals, they still would've lost to Jordan

lol playing the Nuggets in the 90s was like playing the Rockies time to pad the stats. These dudes are the ones that made me Warriors fan.
