I crossed another milestone in building my Airbnb - visiting my rural property for the first time! I bought this land and designed a home without ever setting foot on the property.

Hey Ana, could you do a cost break down video for the permits and fees you've had to pay so far? I've been thinking of building a house out there but I want to get an estimate to see if I should still buy land out there. Or maybe we can schedule a call if that’s faster for you!

Do you have power? Is power close? You can add septic and propane pretty easily, getting power to you land can be expensive

Good luck 👍

I’ve flipped 6 homes in Yucca, JT 29, Landers and Morongo Valley if I can help you at all

When getting your plans approved for permitting, did Yucca Valley make you add in the car port/outdoor patio cover area into the plans? (P.S. i am rooting for you and hope everything works out for you in the end!)

Hey Ana, thanks for the update! Quick question, I know that many locations are now putting short term rental regulations in place and capping the amount of homes that can qualify for a permit. Most recently in Yucca Valley and 29 Palms. I'm hoping such regulations don't take hold in Joshua Tree. Have you given thoughts to this? I would like to do the same thing as you - but worried that once such regulations will take place during the home building process...
