Corn harvest is here! This was filmed on October 20th. We are using the New Idea corn picker mounted on the 686 International to harvest today. We are pulling loads with the John Deere 7510 and the 1650 Oliver. Last but not least the Super M-TA is running the conveyor. Thank you all for watching! Happy Harvest!

One of the first times my Dad let me drive a tractor alone was letting me drive our new IH 300 with a new IH 2ME mounted corn picker. All I did was drive though a gate, but I was on cloud 9!! I think I was 8or 9.I never road with Dad in the field on that picker..He told me it was way way to dangerous. I will never forget that day.I got off that tractor and said to myself I was going to be a Farmer no matter what.We farmed together for many years.I have a son and daughter that both my Dad and I taught to drive a tractor. No they do not farm. They still use what they learned on the farm on the jobs they have now!! Thanks 🥲.

Love seeing your corn harvest and seeing your younger son doing a grown job with skill. Nice to hear Mrs. Gierok narrating and helping out, truly a family affair. All the different angles of the vintage machinery was a treat. Thank you

Fun to watch George on the picker. He's grinning on each clip, , , totally in his element.

By the size of those ears I'd say you'll have a excellent yield per acre. As usual another great video. Stay safe and enjoy your harvest.

Great to see reminds me of back in the 70's and early 80's when my family farmed. We had mounted 2 row on a john deere 3020 then Dad moved on to John deere 4400 Combine. Love the family involvement. in harvesting.

There is nothing better than the smell of cob corn in the crib. Brings back lots of memories of filling grandpa's cribs...

I Love this video. I remember picking corn with my dad and those are days I won't forget. I still have the picker and the wagons. There's not much land left around here that I can grow corn on but I'm gonna start looking.

Great vid. Great memories! We always used barge wagons, never dreamed of using gravity wagons. Live and learn

I pick with the same picker. Around fifty acres a year. We have it mounted on an M .I would love to have it on a larger tractor, but we've been mounting it on the same M since the early 70s and it's just what we use . The camera angles are really great. I've got some videos of us picking up loaded on YouTube, but it doesn't compare to yours. Keep up the great videos.

You know I watch alot of farming channels ..from smaller farms to the largest farms..I would say that the size of ears you guys harvested today are the largest I have seen ...nice job for hilly country

Another good video by Gierok Farms. My dad had a New Idea one row that he pulled with his narrow front 44 Massey Harris. I remember in particular my uncle using it after dad started shelling with his new Oliver 525 self propelled 3 row. My brother and I would ride the wagon in the back and pull any husks off we would see on the ears of corn. Fun ride as a kid. My uncle fed out cattle for freezer beef. Dad left a few acres for him to pick, he opened the field up with the Oliver. Great memories. Thank you and God Bless. Keep em' coming!

The person who did the interdiction to this video did a great job. Much better than I do on my videos.
