Today, we’re wrapping up our campervan roadtrip in Spain by visiting El Escorial, the largest Renaissance building, before heading back to Madrid. After a pleasant walk along Paseo del Príncipe, we explore the opulent interiors and rich history of El Escorial, including its stunning library and basilica. We indulge in delicious local dishes at La Taberna del Corcho and later find a campground near the airport. Our final day is filled with revisiting favorite spots and discovering new ones, enjoying the vibrant life of Madrid. As we savor our last meal at Casa del Abuelo, we reflect on the incredible journey, feeling grateful for the experiences we’ve shared before heading home.
