In my opinion, Dragon Ball has really run its course. I don't understand why we can't just get a straightforward story. Instead, we have all these spin-offs and "what if" scenarios, and then they jump between shows to create new content that only complicates the lore further. Honestly, it feels like there's no real reason for the show to continue at this point. After the Tournament of Power, it seems like they've lost their way. Let's be honest—Jiren was a pretty weak villain. The only reason I started watching again after the tournament was because Broly became canon, but even that's been messed up.

The thing is with all transformations it depends on the person who's in the form and their base power and potential is what defines how powerful it is. A super Saiyan Goku is going to be stronger than a super Saiyan trunks since Goku is stronger in base. Another factor is how proficient each Saiyan is with each transformation. Like when Gohan and Goku perfected SS 1 and could stay in form in their sleep were much stronger than future trunks and Vegeta despite the more training they got, they didn't ever perfect the form making them not as powerful.
What i like about super is where Vegeta and Goku and Gohan each have reached their own form that suits them and their personalities. Dragon Ball daima did something interesting with SS 4 too i thought it was pretty cool and showed how powerful the form is.

The Lv they are right now in the manga they should be able to destroy Planets with a fingersnap but they always seem to get nerfed down to make the next transformation appear epic again... would be cool to have a cell strength Level foe again who thinks they are on top of the world and without the need of ultra, beast and whatsoever to beat them.

To be honest, Ssj4 can still give some trouble with SSJB since Ssj4 takes place 15 years after DBZ in which we know might be able to actually surpass SSG as it only takss 4 years, but with a god ritual.
