Where is the ethical approval to conduct such a study? Seriously, revive an extinct virus ? Is there a guarantee of preventing misuse of this virus. We get enough, no justification.

I don't believe the explanations of the scientists involved. And in any case, explanation is not synonymous with justification. As already stated, there was no real reason to rebuild the virus. They wanted to do it simply because they could, ignoring the risks. They should be held legally responsible.
