I think the easiest way to tell the difference between a morel and a false morel is to look directly at the mushroom. Idk how anyone could mistake the two. I grew up with a different "false" - the false morel I'm familiar with looks just like a morel but the cap is not connected to the stem and are edible to some but can cause varying levels of discomfort from none whatsoever to moderately sick. I never bothered eating them as I never saw the point when my fam is pulling 10-12 pounds of real morels in a single day out hunting lol

I love the name “destroying angel” it’s right up there with “death cap” . I suppose
the “death cap has more deaths, and a slightly more ominous name, “Destroying Angel” is a REALLY heavy name you have to admit.
I’d say it’s equal to “Death Cap” “Destroying Angel” is extremely evil and violent.
It’s like destruction to everything around it.

Thanks for making this great video! Collecting mushrooms is a fool's errand unless you are an expert!

I have one very small complaint. Being a former Microbiologist, I dealt with scientific names quite a bit! Please note that the Genus name is always capitalized, and the species name is not. Thus: Escherichia coli -- not Escherichia Coli. If possible in formatting, both names should be in italics. Just a small quibble, but hey, science requires exactness!
