I fell in love with the Aliner the first time I saw a video on it. Then I kept skipping this video, because I didn't want you to crush my dream. I finally watched it, and I could just smile. You have a great salesman technique. Great job!

I put a few bucks into my Aliner too. I actually remodeled the whole inside of mine. I am happy with the results. I have my wife, two kids and two big dogs. We all fit. Love my aliner because I store it in my small garage and its always ready to go.

Oh, Rick! So true on so many levels! It’s hard to believe that it was just a few years ago that I upgraded from my backpacking tent to a new-to-me popup. Fortunately/unfortunately, I saw my first Aliner in Maryland on my first trip in that trailer. Yep! I was toast! I bought my Aliner Ranger 15 the next year. In the last 3 years, I’ve reupholstered the cushions and made new curtains, added front stabilizers, 2 new baggage doors, new hinges and cam locks on the cabinet doors, usb-rechargeable wall sconces, shelving, access door under the bed for the cassette toilet, solar (just the cables and Renogy 100watt suitcase— a PopupPortal friend from Mass generously supplied and installed the actual system), and a new outside electrical outlet. This year I’m going to install gas struts and a custom screen ‘Dutch Door’ (based on an a friend’s design shared at our 2019 ON Fall Rally).
Yep! My bowling budget has gone to the dogs. Oops, no offence, Aquila! 💙🇨🇦

Funny, the dogs own the Aliner, you are just their driver, chef and maintenance man!

Love your sense of humor. I was ready to hear all the bad things about the Aliner. Took me few minutes to figure it out. Lol 😂

It’s hard to determine if our commentator is using humor or not. After I have completed the video I am convinced he is at least half kidding. I have owned my Aliner for 14.5 years. I once lived within an hour of the factory. I visited there & had the tour with the owners and I was very impressed. I chose the Aliner because of the tow weight and because it is year round capable. I was very paranoid regarding the issue of water damage and so, although I have a sink and a water tank. I have never used them. We have an ice box that has never been used. We use it for storage. I have kept my camper stored inside a garage it’s entire life except for when using it or when we relocated to another state. It is in superb condition. Taking the time to appreciate all the features, advantages, and benefits of Aliner or any brand, prior to the purchase is crucial. I met a recent owner just after I had placed my order. He had used his new Aliner for about one month. I encountered him in the parking lot of a grocery store prior to him going out camping. I asked him what he had learned? He said he should have ordered the electric brakes. Thankfully I had already ordered mine with the electric brakes. They are very useful. I have now used 3 different tow vehicles. That was an issue I raised with the Aliner factory owners in 2005, the current tow vehicle Industry capability is surely lacking. We no longer have 8 cylinder engines in cars like the bad old days. Having rear wheel drive and a wide wheel base is also preferable. No matter what camper you chose, the cost for maintenance is never ending. When you look at the labor costs today and the cost of the Aliner, it is a commitment. I paid $13k for mine. Now they are around $24k.

Nice try! They way to go is to buy a used A-frame where someone else has already done the major improvements. I bought a used 2016 Chalet that the previous owner put in solar, a 2nd battery, 2nd propane, lifted it 4 inches, cut all the reflective panels for the windows, reduced the size of the dinette area and put in shelving with numerous (16) boxes for storage, put in an overhead storage system, made an awning that works with the A-frame and added portable AC. But wait, there's go to be a way to add a shower, wood stove, tongue bike rack Never mind you're right it never ends.

This was great! Who wants to drag that Aliner to all these great places and set up in a couple of minutes, lol. Have fun in Tampa!

Nicely done, really appreciate the humor--love the confusion, hey, be careful, you may like it! Takes only 15 seconds to setup, but an hour of talking to all the people who ask you how you did it, still laughing :-).

I rented one of those last year and found it to be the coolest camper ever. I am currently looking at one to purchase. My German Shepherd really liked it also.

I have watched this a few times and love the sarcasm. We have had our Aliner just over three years now and we have started the mods. First thing to happen was removing the useless microwave.

I think this good ole boy is telling his story tongue in cheek. I think he likes his Aliner.

My wife and I traveled from Seattle to Raleigh and back in our Classic...had a wonderful adventure...and we're still married! With Covid, we've mothballed it for now, but are looking forward to more great trips.

Thanks for making me laugh! We have experienced the Aliner inquisition from our fellow campers too. Your videos make me miss my big dumb dog, best friend ever.
