Thanks for the recap! I absolutely love the culture at Ibis. I bet the people attending were a blast to hang out with, and I get why you didn't have a camera around in people's faces getting comments and interviews, when the whole point was to have it be a retreat without social media, etc. Cool idea. I was at Outerbike last year at Bentonville, and I was going on and on about how much I was BLOWN AWAY by my Ripmo demo to another local rider. There were a few people standing close by, and eventually...I stopped talking, and someone said, "Keep going, keep going....I'd love to hear more." It turns out it was Scott. He was so down to earth and fun to talk to. He told me everything about the Ripmo and what determined every single nuance of the bike's geometry, and why they chose it. You could just feel his passion for the bike, and cycling in general.

If you're ever going to pick a bike based on the company and culture, Ibis is going to be hard to beat! The dealings I've had, and our LBS has had since picking them up a little over a year ago, have all been positive. GREAT company! I would love to attend this event in the future!

funny how you said something about biking to a swimming hole.. thats how i started biking waaaay back in the day. always to a swimming hole. then, i realized how much fun the biking itself was. more fun than the swimming hole. and here we are. biking every day

Hey, I know that bartender! This was my fifth Migration, second time in Mendocino and fourth as the bartender at these events. These are always an epic time. Riding in Mendocino is magical and I can’t wait for the next one! This group is just always awesome. Many of us have gotten to know each other over the years. If you can keep up with Roo on one of these rides, kudos to you- it was fun chasing you Brian! This truly is the best event I’ve been to over the years.
