Nagasu was robbed of an honestly earned place. Wagner the Usurper comes with a pocketful of endorsements - and we can't let a little thing losing the freeking competition get in our way, now can we? This is my last straw with the USFS. No more money from me, and I hope the smug Miss Wagner has to brush ice off her sculpted butt at the end of the Ladies competition. She richly deserves a catastrophic loss.

I loved Kwan on the ice. I'll just leave it at that.

Sorry, I am a fan of MIchelle Kwan but this is entirely skewed toward Wagner. If you are going to cover the controversy you have to do a complete job of it. It says here that Nagasu received shabby treatment from US FIgure Skating and the report is a white wash.

I don't think that Ashley was picked over Mirai, I think that Polina was picked over Mirai.  If you look at the selection criteria Ashley clearly earned a spot.  The decision was between Mirai and Polina.

Well, I do believe that  Michelle Kwan retired from the figure skating competition and is representing the US athletes at Sochi and will be doing the interviewing and keeping us informed about the upcoming figure skating events at Sochi. Also I am thinking she's doing the commentary too.

Kwan is a living legend. I wish I could watch her skate in Sochi instead of the bots we have on our hands now.

 While Abbott is an excellent  skaters in the shows he falls apart in the  competitions.There was no way he could have won a medal..

I'm so disappointed this exists. Michelle was Mirai's idol. Michelle could have not even mentioned the controversy at all. Could have just said "Ashley Wagner got it". Really, really sad. Didn't even throw a bone to Mirai.

Michelle well she was right about White and Davis. But totally wrong about Ashley. She had been inconsistent had reached a plateau and is a boring skater. Pollina  Gracie  and Myra are all better. Myra should have gone to the Olympics. Her  body of work is over.

Michelle, we expected better from you. Mirai has listed you as her idol and role model. She didn't do ANYTHING wrong, except give a GREAT medal worthy skate. And now she's subjected to having to hear her HERO make a statement that Mirai didn't deserve to be on?
