One Book July 2018 Week 2 Update and Thoughts

Here is a quick little unboxing from a sale that Ana at Mystics Little Gifts was having last week.

I received what looks like a Passport wide with square pockets. It looks to be of the recently dicontinued Bourbon leather. It smells amazing.

I also noticed that the passport wide is the exact same size as the pocket rings. I may purchase some pocket rings from Lena at Mylk Shoppe and set up another beautiful pocket rings. :-)

The passport TN your using seems totally “you”. Perfect to use and carry with you, me I love those, what I call dull colors or muted, adds to the more rustic feel. Blue is my favorite color and the new Bingley blue by Chic Sparrow was my latest purchase to house my 5 yr Hobonichi. This has been my favorite One Book July, and funny I had planner peace before the month started this journey of one book is confirming I am going right direction with my TN’s and planning ❤️

Hi John. I REALLY enjoy your videos. I am a novice. At the moment i am in Zero Books July. I went down this YouTube rabbit hole while researching a very large folder for my art journal folios. I love the Midori system because the folios slide in/out with such ease. I also think it would be an awesome idea to use the format for art journals and toward that end i'm looking at thin papers that can hold up to wet media and it looks like red rosin paper is in the pole position.So after i post this i'm going to search for One Book July. I will definitely appreciate any suggestions you have for me. I can already see there is a large group of people out there who are totally devoted to their TN systems and beautiful covers. I purchased a standard TCTN in that awesome blue and a few days later i found an original Midori in black. I like to tinker so I am modifying a B6-ish cover from an old wrap around journal in brown leather. AND i am thinking of an A5 any recommendations? hahaha and so it begins...

I'm with you. 2 book July, and always. I use the same set up personal for "wallet" and a5 for journaling and art. I don't go anywhere without them but I can not use one pen... I'm an addict... lol. I currently am using the a5 size midori 100%cotton paper... oh the crinkle!LOVE THAT SOUND!
