I was only aware of a couple of songs he did with Nancy Sinatra. Since discovering his large body of work, I've been obsessed. I've listened to little else for over a month.

A true lost masterpiece of an album so poetically presented. Lee was a helluva storyteller. We miss that road weary voice and heartfelt lyrics so much. You were loved brother Hazelwood and your legacy shines more each day....

The bassist is doing the job of the bass, the drums and rythm guitar, unbelievable bass player on this album, truly.

Now I realize that Leonard Cohen tried to sound like Lee !I'm fan of Cohen and now I'm of Lee ! :-) Man,  it was such a good time for music. I listen since 30 years music of 60's & 70's... I never stop to discover masterpieces !

My grandpa was great friends with Lee, as well as my aunt with Lee's daughter. I wish I had the chance to meet him.

The guitars and bass sound so good on this that it takes you a few songs in before you realize there are no drums or percussion.
