I was in coma and heard the doctor telling my parents they needed to come say good bye, I kept trying to tell them I was still here but I couldn't move anything as much as I tried, all I could do was see the blackest black not a ray of light and I couldn't let them know that I was still alive, I remember calling out to Jesus and the next thing I knew, I woke up 7 days later in a hospital room, they said that at the time they were going to pronounce me dead, they got brain waves and a faint heart beat, I know it was calling out to my Lord and Savior, and to this day when I have medical test I tell them that story that you never know if they are really passing on or in limbo and waiting for that call to our Savior Jesus Christ, and I came out in perfect health, when they told my parents I would have to have constant medical care the rest of my life. God healed me and I knew I was alive and not what the doctors were saying, in fact the doctor was surprised when I told him the proceedures that were being done to me.

I have battled mental illness for 68 years and was born again at 22 years. I always thought it was my fault that I couldn’t do as many things as other people and never would have thought I had mental illness. Finally last year I was diagnosed with a mood disorder and put on a medication that worked! Now I can do just what the Lord wants me to do and my brain is clear! I thank God for Him using Doctors to help also!

I was saved when I was 29 yrs old but a few years later I backslid. I know many of you don't believe a person can backslide, but believe me you can. When I came to faith in the Lord Jesus I was at home in my bedroom. I had been dropping my children off at a local church every Sunday and picking them up when church was over. Little did I know that my 6 yr old was going to the altar every Sunday and praying for God to save me and his dad. God answered his prayers and I will never forget that. The church we attended when we were saved heaped a great deal of responsibility on me and my husband and we were baby Christian's. We had the church bus to pick up the children in our community and my husband was made Sunday school superintendent and they gave me children's church. We needed to be mentored and fed in the Sunday school class and in the sanctuary during the preaching. After our one and only business meeting where no one was acting like Jesus Christ but arguing and bitter, we stopped going. I quit before my husband but it wasn't long before he also quit. We became worse sinners than before we ever saved, if that's possible. Years went by and our marriage of 34 yrs ended in divorce. A few years later I went back to the cross begging God to forgive my sins. As far as I know my ex husband hasn't gone back to the cross. He's remarried years ago and lives in another town and I don't see or hear from him. When the boys have a birthday party for my grandchildren his wife won't let him come if I'm there. She dislikes me immensely and I've never been anything but nice to her. If I had died during the time I was sinning like crazy I would have gone to hell and I know that, but my old pastor told me " no you would have gone to heaven but would have lost rewards" tell me how he can justify that. I'm by no means perfect now but I love the Lord Jesus and it breaks my heart when I think something sinful or say something about another person. The Holy Spirit convicts me and I confess my sin to God and ask His forgiveness. Tell me pastor Jack do you believe a person can backslide?

My son went to church mocking. One Sunday he left the church, heard 'some' message, was blinded by the sunlight exiting. He dumped all his drugs as soon as he got to his apt. and has been a 'what would Jesus do" Ambassador ever since. 30 years ago.
