This is why I feel there's a lot of wasted potential with characters like Gohan, Trunks, and Goten, they have the potential to be literally the strongest fighters ever, but they squander it, Gohan gets a bit of a pass cause he's living his dream of being a scholar (something I still think Chi-Chi beat into him), but what's Goten and Trunk's excuse

Stronger rage boost is an understatement, bro saw his pickle get cooked and shat out beast form which is arguably stronger than mui. Bro jumped 4 story arcs of power in a cut scene.

i think it's also the difference between Vegeta just always being generally pissed off all the time vs Gohan whom is generally happy and less emotionally heated all the time so it takes him much more emotionally charged energy that he just explodes as if he keeps emotions more bottled up (or reserved is a better term) and it takes a lot more emotional trauma to trigger his potentially bottomless reservoirs of absolute rage-induced explosion of pure unbridled oceans of jabroni-beating whoop azz!

with Vegeta....he's always got a short fuse and let's his anger constantly trickle out all the time. which gives him more control over his "always at the ready" battle sense which is a really great strength for Vegeta, because I feel it gives him an edge so he can focus his rage more and be able to make in control and well thought out battle strategies vs his opponents....

as where Gohan is more level headed all the time....and it takes quite a bit more to get him to the point where he just explodes resulting in such an incredible amount of energy going wild.

I think every Saiyan has a rage boost, that's literally how Goku turned Super Saiyan against Frieza.

Krillin and Tien hot rage boosts too, it's not a Saiyan exclusive concept. After Yamcha died Krillin got a big boost and one-shot killed several Saibamen. Tien took on Nappa and did much better after Chiaotzu died.
