I am full of admiration for all those who marched past the Cenotaph, but more so, for the gentleman who brought up the rear. A man of the highest respect who insisted on using his walking frame, rather than his wheelchair, as he honoured the Glorious Dead. What a man!

Remembrance Sunday will never go no matter how these people who have moved to our country feel it’s for our Soldier’s who fought and died for our countries ❤

Remembrance Sunday is for the British and Commonwealth who died in two world wars and other conflicts and their families.
It has nothing to do with Gaza.
Their sacrifice gave you the privilege of commenting however inane. Just be grateful for that!

Watching the Proud Veterans march past and render honors to their fallen comrades is very moving and always brings me to tears, the way that they march with their heads held high, pushing aside the physical difficulties that some must have, it’s shows just how much honor and Respect The British Have for their sacrifices, my Great Grandfather would be proud to know that his service in World War One is still being honored by his fellow countrymen and women.

Great respect to the people who fought for this country and lost their lives. But what a shambles of Mp's and Ex Prime ministers and Starmer standing there, they can't even wear the poppy in the right place. The Leaf should be positioned at 11 o'clock. Just shows what this country has become. Today at my local cenotaph, I mourned our War Dead and I mourned to destruction of what once was a beautiful and great country.

DADS AT WAR PAST & NOW ??
D-Day raised the curtain on the conflict
That fore shadowed the end of Hitler's dream.
The largest joint combat landing ever
Though the blood from both sides flowed like a stream.

When their boats hit the sand, their ramps went down
And all within paid a visit to hell.
They jumped out to do good for their country
And to kill the enemy without fail.

They fought the Germans, tides, winds and the waves
In conditions not easily foreseen.
By night the battle was in our favor
With bravery, valor, death, and men who scream.

The corpses littered the beach for five miles
Though heroism had carried the day.
With literally thousands dead or wounded
Those who were left were determined to stay.

They faced great odds and chose not to protest
And won the war that put evil to shame.
Most came home, married and raised their babies
But those who could not we recall with pain.

What a pleasure to watch all those heroes march past without the voice of dimbleby chattering away on the BBC

The very members of the Royal Family who have been on active duty and been in action not there. A very sad indictment for the times.

Tice could go and lay a reef in Skegness or Boston if he wanted.
Farage could lay a reef in Clacton. Why do they need to be on television. Stop politicising remembrance day. The current PM should be the only MP laying a reef. The rest should be attending remembrance day in their own constituency

Can anyone please tell me what the piece of music is called, just before the two minutes silence?

I see Tony Blair there. Despite all his claims of ‘just war’ over Iraq, I wonder if, as he stands there at the Cenotaph, he is reflecting on the service personnel he sent to war on what was very shaky evidence of WMD.

Gordon Brown looks very worried, doesn’t want to be there

How can you celebrate Remembrance Day, and you are all silent and complicit on way is happening in G…z.? You say “ Lest we forget” You forgot them.
Shame on all of you!!
