NO  way I can understand how can somebody be so foolish to buy a 150 CC bike at a price higher than a 200 cc bike, just for that plastic add ons at side. Never judge a book by it's cover. 200ns, looks good, has better acceleration than any bike at this price-point, It can go up-to 153km/hr, THat's HUGE..

appalled by all the condescending comments by R15 owners. some even blaming the r15 ride ( a pro)r calling him names ...understandably miffed that a 50% cheaper bike smoked their ride...Guys ...plain and simple and bike with 162 bhp per ton will always be faster than 130 bhp per ton ...plain physics . agreed a lot other things matter ..aerodynamics, refinement  , gearing etc but the gap is too much to bridge just on those parameters.Live with it and stop trolling here

Yup you are right. I think 140 kmph would be intended actual top speed of ns but it can go 145+ kmph as well but that can damage its valves.

what i want to request is dat a little bit better crouching while drags would be appreciated as the bike's dynamics fail to show its actual capability once u sit erect or in a bad crouching posture while racing...

Point#1 Don't underestimate P200NS
Point#2 It got 23.5bhp, it can beat R15, Cbr150R, P220 very comfortably 
Point#3 My 200NS gives average mileage of 40kmpl
Point#4 R15 or CBR150R are no where competitors for 200NS. it can compete with             KTM 200
Point#5 It can easily touch 120 without any stress. and also can reach 150. my top speed was 149 i am forced  to release the acceleration coz i lost the view.

Lol, the P200NS in the video makes it ahead of others so easily, while the R15 appears to be trying so hard (because of the crouching rider). Why did the 200NS not crouch ? I ride a NS myself & the wind blast on your chest is quite difficult to tolerate after like 80+kph.

Yeah the Pulsar is more powerful, but we are not passing any judgment. These videos are purely for viewing pleasure ;-)

explain how cuz its 136 km/hr on the booklet at 9500 rpm at sixth gear ... i have tried it it doesnt go beyond that

I am neither R15 nor 200 NS fan, but many of the international video links posted here have modified (Daytona) R15's, which can do 150+. Being a popular motor cycle, Racing kit parts are widely available for R15. Quality wise Yamaha is the better of the two and if given a choice i would take Yamaha, but a stock Yamaha vs a stock 200 NS in street is a no contest, 200 NS will comfortably pass the R15, don't know about the track though. Top Speed is not everything about a bike, especially in entry level super commuters like these.

Yeah you are right too ! It may damage the valves or crankshaft if it goes in that speed for a long distance.(stock engines).But after installing custom racing parts, The bike becomes reliable in these speeds..

i think this is not a fair competition, Pulsar is a 200 cc bike, while other two bikes are 150 cc

because the pulsar is cheaper than the r15 and the cbr 150r when with the money of a zx6 you can buy like 5 pulsar, and its only 50cc against, injection, a race chasis, and a more compresed engine, sounds fair to me

No R15 and CBR 150 are not overpriced, they justify their price. They give you full fairing and complete sports bike looks and very good long lasting engine. compare their prices with 250 sports bike, they are much cheaper. Pulsar 200 ns is a naked bike and doesn't has fairing, plus its from a local manufacturer bajaj. If you want superb looks and decent power go for R15 &CBR 150, but if you want soild performance and decent looks for 200ns.

but in terms price performance ratio Pulsar 200 NS is the best.

You just need a bit of practice, thats all. Ns is a good bike.
The company says 136 km/hr because its a restriction from government(many rules are there for those things.Ns is not even 200 cc, its exactly 199.5 cc.its 0.5 cc less because of some tax rule.Bajaj wants to make profit & not end up paying taxes!)
