Just a correction, A.A. Milne's son was named Christopher Robin Milne. The teddy bear was originally named Edward but was later rechristened Winnie, after Winnipeg, a tame black bear at the London Zoo, which the young boy loved.
Winnie had been largely raised by Lt. Harry Colebourn, a Canadian veterinarian who served with a cavalry regiment. While reporting for service in WWI, Harry's train made a stopover and near the station was a hunter who was selling the orphaned bear cub.
Winnie accompanied him to England where he did most of his training and became the mascot of the Canadian Army Veterinary Corps. She was too tame to be released so he left her in the care of the London Zoo when he was sent to France.
After his service, he intended to bring her back home to a zoo in Winnipeg but she was such a beloved attraction that he decided to leave her there

Sonic is never referred to as Ogilvie in any form of sonic media - It was simply a head canon name a writer at Archie Comics had.

And Sonic's name being Maurice is not canon, it appears in the Archie spin off comics (Which are often compared to licensed fan fiction lol)
