Israeli PM hints at delay to controversial annexation plan

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is yet to implement a controversial peace plan that includes annexation of parts of the West Bank, despite a July 1 timeline to start the process. As FRANCE 24 correspondent Irris Mackler reports, the delay could indicate cold feet from Washington, while Israel itself is divided over the plan.

Why didn’t the Jordanians create an independent Palestinian state in
1948 when they occupied the West Bank? It was certainly in their
power! The reason is simple: Jordanians made no distinction between
Arabs that lived east of the Jordan River and those who lived west of the Jordan. They were all
Jordanians. And... the "Palestinian PPL" was NOT Invented Yet!!!
