Nothing amiss here. The instructions are only there for your second attempt. Gets you some extra enjoyment out of it. After all, if it's worth doing, it's worth redoing. Course, that doesn't apply to paid projects. "Is it any good?" the customer asks, "Oh it's better than good, it's *good enough* " I tells them.

The amount of sikaflex on the shop floor at Haas in custom colors that match the enclosures is *_freaking astounding._* Packages of red shop (paper) towels are probably the only thing that outnumber the tubes of sikaflex, but it'd be a close race. Leaving out 1/4"-20 FBHCS (flanged-BHCS) of course. Pretty sure those are bought & sold by the pound, but going on a per screw unit basis they vastly outnumber any other part. They use those things on *_everything._*

We used to use sika flex when installing/upgrading, repairing, and installing VSATs and TVROs aboard ships. It would fill seams for the cabling penetrations or even attach right angle plates to the deck that would hold our LMR-400 cabling. That stuff is no joke and can be on your hands for days, haha.

Gentlemen, Just my 2 cents worth here. The pokey bit is for clearing old schmoo from the nozzles. To open a cartridge you use a 6mm or thereabouts drill bit, screwdriver, finger, toenail, etc

Try sticking the tube down the old trousers to bring it up to operators temperatures. Did this in Las Vegas in the chilly season. A little heater, bring up to anything above 55 degrees American. In the summer that silicone will run like water at 110 degrees American. And page in the dew claw manual. Thumbs up, fun video.
