I put together a little sneak peak of what some of my night shifts are like as an ICU nurse! Obviously no two days are the same, but I hope you can get a little taste of what it's like! Enjoy!

"If you stay ready, you don't have to get ready." new motto :) I love your videos!

So much respect for RNs and the amount of work they put in on the daily. Those 12 hour shifts are not easy, however, you did it with grace! You are appreciated!

THANK YOU for actually blogging what you do at your hospital, I've clicked on so many "my nursing shift" or "nursing school" vlogs that are literally jus the person sitting in their car and talking for 15 minutes, thank you soooo much. I'm both excited and scared to start my BSN program this fall and vlogs like this really help me to be more excited!!

The 15 minutes before shift to get your life together, wiping everyone’s germy mess down, the mini chart check... I feel seen. Loved this!

That is the hospital that started my nursing career!!! I recognize the unit and your badge!!! I used to be a supervisor there (not on that unit though)! Great team!! Loved your vlog!

Thank you for being proactive in your video! I see too many who do not give us students what it will really look like, mostly a lot of talking in the car or restroom. Following!

I love this! If you can, can you make videos on RN skills such as iv insertion, hanging an IV bag? Also your time as a new grad RN, things you might’ve went through. How long did it take you to get confident in your role as a RN? I have no patient care experience and going straight in as an RN, BSN

I really enjoyed this video. I am graduating from nursing school in 2 months, with hopes of starting in the ICU, so having a glimpse of what it's like from your perspective is very helpful!

This was so intresting and fun to watch! I work in an ICU in Finland. Totally other side of the world but still everything looked so familiar 😊 And I too am that person, who starts her shift by wiping everything 🤣

I have my first critical care clinical tmr and I'm super excited!! I never thought I'd be suited for ICU but the more I learn, the more intriguing it sounds :)

Cool video! Not completely a first year nurse yet, I'm in a residency program. Thinking about the ICU, feeling a little uneasy about it considering all the stories I've heard from Medsurg nurses. I'ts so muc harder! in a nutshell, but I'd like the experience. The way you've put it, is be ready for anything! Doesn't sound to bad if your ducks are in a row.

Going to work at least 15 minutes make such a difference. And you can get report as soon as possible so the person before can leave also when you receive reports it’s long. So as early as you can be is prefect
