Tourism and retail go hand-in-hand, and no one can argue with the fact that these two sectors are some of the hardest hit by COVID-19 and closed borders. Paul explains to Margy that there has been a forced acceleration of transformation trends in the retail sector and whilst it's been very tough for some, opportunities have also been created.
With no international visitors, we are missing out on $60billion that the domestic market cannot replace. Paul discusses the shift away from CBD's to the suburban retailer and the role retail has in bringing the CBD's back to life.
