ABOUT NAKSHATRAS:

'Vedic' astrology has a complex system of stars aka 'nakshatras' or 'lunar mansions' working behind the scenes of the 'rashis' that are further related to 'deities' and 'mantras' found in the 'Vedas'.

In this series, I will briefly discuss the energy of each 'nakshatra' every day, following the Moon through his journey across the sky around the Earth.

In each video I will talk briefly about the 'nakshatra', its energy, its significance and also how planetary placements here influence your life and what they guide is towards.

This video is about the nakshatra of 'Hasta', which is the 10th 'nakshatra' out of a total of 27 and what its energy is like.

ABOUT MOOLA NAKSHATRA:

Ruled by the Rig Vedic deity 'Nritti', who is the goddess of nothingness and destruction, this is a very powerful lunar mansion which encapsulates within it the energy of massive transformation and growth.

It is the energy of getting to the 'root' of problems and difficulties. In this sense, the journey of natives born under this star can be quite difficult because quite often they are held by structural deficits such as major challenges that exist to hinder their growth rooted in their environment or circumstances.

This is also the same aspect of this energy that pushes growth in the individual as they are quite often destined to tap into their personal power and lead major transformations and redirects.

'Moola' individuals are quite often destined for leadership. However, it may often take them a while to find their direction in life and often find themselves lost and listless, purposeless.

One of the biggest issues that can exist with this energy is that it is simply too much to ignore. If you have this placement and you are trying to play it small and 'get along' without listening to your heart.. you may often face major frustrations, heartaches, conflicts, failures and challenges. That's because if conscious control and attunement is not achieved between the individual and this energy, the destructive aspects of the energy of 'Moola' may overpower the individual and lead them in the wrong direction.

Therefore it is imperative that 'Moola' placements wherever they are in the chart, are studied from the perspective of not what they can deliver but what they initially demand of the individual. It is in managing the significations and associations of that placement that results in the growth of those aspects in the individual.

ABOUT 'KAALI':

'KAALI' is the representation of all that can be but isn't. She is the set of all the possibilities that exist to undo this world in a single instant. This is why she is depicted as towering over her own husband 'Shiva', the god of death.

'Kaali' is quite misunderstood by most in that only her frightful and taboo nature is seen and the full extent of her powers go unnoticed. When you go deeper into the understanding of her energy however, you see that she is also the energy of massive change and transformation.

'Kaali' is... quite simply put.. the energy of awakening that can trigger within a single moment.. and change the plane of reference for the individual forever.

Great class. I have asc and Neptune R in Moola, next to it in 1st house is Ketu in Purvashada nakshatra. Spirituality with this placement is a must - I remember myself sitting with books of astrology, numerology at the age of 10, feeling things, having dreams. I get people "amazed" (traumatized) by the deconstructive sharpness of my intelligence.
I was told my writting is unsettling. It points inwards, tears open and leaves it there to whatever it is meant for.
