What's A Dividend Investor To Do With 3M Stock?

Why is 3M stock down? 3M is currently embroiled in two lawsuits, and their stock is down almost 16% the past year. In this video I'll quick recap the situation and share what I'm planning on doing.

So many people truly do not understand how investing works. You want bad news to come out so you can buy stocks cheaper. The lawsuit doesn't stop 3M from having over 118k patents. I see so many people on here saying they sold and will get back in later. That's market timing. Good luck with that . You never sell; they didn't even say they are cutting a dividend, and people got out. Thanks for selling and bringing the price down.

< TA is all well and good but I find it truly baffling that all major crypto youtubers just look at pure TA and completely ignore the bigger narrative of why BTC is pumping and why the future outlook might not be as rosy as it seems. It's kinda irresponsible to ignore the fact that each ETF launch so far has caused a major dump at the peaks of BTC. More emphasis should be put into day tradiing as it is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market. I have made over 11 btc from day tradng with FADWA, insights and signals in less than 2 weeks, this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish..,

Thank you for the content, MMM is certainly coming right on down presenting a better buy in opportunity by the day. I, however, cannot get myself to jump at it, I think I would ultimately like to see better overall performance with a better upward trajectory versus what appears to be more sideways lately..

I sold out of it. It was the first ever stock I bought before I understood what buying undervalued stocks meant. I sold it at a loss, but I don't regret it, I prefer entering a position when I can classify it as undervalued and this will just serve me as a reminder. Back when I started investing, I was buying any stocks that I knew regardless of their price. I sold most of it on a profit before the market took a downturn, so I'm lucky in that regard. 3m is the only stock I sold out at a loss.

I sold 3M because it's recent dividend growth was poor. I'd rather have a company with a high dividend growth rate.

I work at a wastewater plant and we're finding the PFAS in everything. It's some nasty stuff. If 3M is found to hide the negative effects of these chemicals, they should pay a very high price.

I finally was able to save enough money to buy 1 share of 3M right before the ex date and I added another $15 to it today because that's all I could afford. I'm hoping it continues to go down so I can buy in at better prices. Thank you for this video. I was unaware of all this going on.

Hi Russ. I'm a new follower. I think there are better stocks if your looking for a dividend. Your right MMM has stormy weather ahead and I think you can find better places to put your money. One that I'm sure you know of is ATT. They haven't had the best year either but at an 8.82% dividend I would be OK to roll the dice on this one. Once oil come back to earth I would consider those as well. Vinny F
