Twitter’s ex-CEO Jack Dorsey has claimed that the Indian government threatened to shut down the platform in the country if it did not act against accounts critical of the government. IT minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar has refuted Dorsey’s claim, and called it an attempt to brush over Twitter’s “dubious history”.
