DVC rental store is the best! Just spent an amazing week in Vero Beach on rented points. I was nervous, but the process was easy and I saved hundreds. Thanks Paul and Amy for everything! I will definitely be a repeat customer. I appreciate your products and information. Good luck with the storm.

Amy, I have several of those rechargeable light bulbs in my house. They work! I gave some to everyone in my family and my friends a couple of Christmases ago. I recommend that everyone get at least two and keep them charged for emergencies. Thanks for sharing this information and for this live blog. I love watching you two and your motley crew. 😊

Didn’t get to see this live and luckily not in the hurricane’s path (sending good vibes to all of you), but I’m totally here for Amy’s light bulb!! In the Pacific Northwest, we often lose power due to windstorms and that light bulb is awesome - I’m going to check that out! Great info for those that need it - thanks!

At Poly this week and next, not much bad weather outside of a little rain this morning.

I'm not sure how much the weather will really impact our experience here besides the reduced amenities. The buildings here are constructed extremely well.

We rode out Ian at Beach Club, and it was honestly such a memorable trip - it felt like a giant sleepover with Disney characters. Except during the height of the storm (which came overnight) there was no restriction on where we could go so we had plenty of choices for quick service food and drinks. The cast members (especially the rideout crew) were sensational - I can’t say enough good things about Disney cast members who go the extra mile in these situations.

Stay safe everyone!

I wish someone would do a documentary on how WDW deals with hurricanes. Like all of the prep and how many cast members sort of move there etc. I think it would be really interesting.
