You NEED to use these on BACK DAY!

Alright quick tip, start using straps on all your pulling movements. Doing this will place more emphasis on your back without having to worry about grip strength, which allows you to train to true muscular failure rather than just having your forearms give out. Trust me, removing grip as a limiting factor is extremely beneficial if your goal is to train your back, so give it a shot and see how it goes.

I hope that helps and subscribe for more lifting tips! #Gym #Shorts

Yes, you obviously will be able to build muscle without these, I only just started using them myself. However, using lifting straps allows you to remove grip as a limiting factor which places more emphasis on the target muscle (in this case, the back). Whereas, if you didn't use straps, more often than not your forearms would give out before you get close to failure which defeats the purpose of the set. Again, although they aren't absolutely necessary, the difference they make is extremely beneficial.

Looking to get protein powder, creatine, or any other supplements?

That's amazing. You can't even tell he's using a strap-on during that exercise.

if you're gonna use straps make sure you workout grip strenght/forearm sometimes too

I would add a disclaimer to this and say only use the straps when your grip is actually limiting you from hitting muscular failure for your back

don't use straps in your workout until your grip gets weak or until your heaviest sets that way you don't neglect your grip but can dial in on your back without grip limiting your weight and reps

if you just care about you back yeah this is good, but if you also care about forears and grip strenght it's better if you don't use straps, you can also do additional forearm training but I personally prefer just doing stuff without starps

Be aware that Injury can occur if you overuse starps because your forearms will get to weak to lift the weight your back can. I have a friend who got a chronicle inflammation in the forearms due to straps and overtraining. I would recommend to only us them in deadlifts.

Let’s go, I’ve tried this with dumbbells for dumbbell rows, and it works

For the people saying it will weaken your grip, it won't if you train your grip towards the end of your workout.
Using workouts like farmer's carry or dumbell wrist curls.

He's definitely not wrong but personally I just spent about two weeks training grip strength as it allows you to lift more in other lifts as well. My grip has never given out since

I use them on RDLs but i don't like to use straps on other lifts, it's cool to build a stronger grip and forearm too.

Quick tip: workout without oxygen deprivation

Build grip though obviously, use a mixture of unassisted, and assisted grip for various pulling movements, nobody ever had a worse training experience for having stronger forearms

When I used them the size of my forearms declined to a point where I did not like it anymore actually. So I trained my forearms to be able to train to failure without straps. That was the way to go for me.

Quick tip, dont use straps all the time, so you dont end with a weak grip, having strong grip is good for pretty much every pulling exercise.

I agree but only if ur grip is good with out them too cuz using straps for everything but still having bad grip isn’t good

From personal experience don't use straps from the beginning of the sets. Use it only if your forearms can't handle the weight. You need that grip strength.
