Do you happen to know how to approach a moving shield with this one though? Finding that since using absolute world position the ring effect doesn't make it through the shield since it happens on a specific location that doesn't follow the shield, any idea on how this could be fixed?

Hi. Could you please tell me how to make this effect usable as alpha, inside the main shield material? As far as I understand, it currently spawns outside of it, as separate objects.
And please, a link to the discord, because this one is outdated

Hi, so I made my own shield material. Before working around with this tutorial for the hit impact effect will this work along with my own shield material? Pls lmk. thanks for this tutorial regardless.

hey boss! just followed this and I'm having the same issue where I don't see the impacts in the sphere with or without any other material. Checked sizes and collisions and everything is done the way you did them here. Any ideas what could it be?

this dosent work on ue5.3 i try and material is always transparent nothing to see no ring no nothing no matter wath i change in the variables
