Install Microsoft Visual C++ on Steam Deck quacked games

For anyone watching this just now, once you installed the VC_Redist 64/86 just hide don't remove. also, when typing the command for the launch options just select(paste copy location) of one VC_redist

ex: STEAM_COMPAT_DATA_PATH= [paste ONE VC_Redist file location] %command%

That's how it worked for me when installing quacked Lies of P

Hey guys! This still works great! Thanks for the Tutorial! But just a reminder! SKIP the step where he kicks out the apps from steam, otherwise it wont work anymore cause steam kicks the folders out. Just hide them or leave them there.

Still had the error after doing this, but I just changed the order of the commands and it worked fine after that, thank you for the video

One note here, it looks like removing the redistributables from your library now deletes the compatdata folders.

I tried doing with high on life steam deck and it still shows Microsoft visual c++ runtime not installed but i did install it

tried that 12 times with "stray" and it still asks for C++ to be installed after i watched it in stall and followed all the steps. I'm giving up:( lol

Genius bro, absolute genius. Only place I struggled was on Launch options line command as was using the decks in built keyboard and mouse lol

I followed this video and changed the order of the lines in the launch field and I can now play Tekken 8. Thank you!

I think there is an easier way to fix the vc_redist error.

If you install the cracked game like any other, when finished you can modify the path of the .exe and select the vc_redist just to install and add it to the originally created compatdata folder
