Low Roman Workbench Build and Use

A short slideshow of building Rex Kruger's low roman workbench and some shots of me using it. Its been a great little bench and when lumber prices come down makes a great project for someone who wants a bench but does not want a large amount of joinery in the bench.

I went for his more recent cheaper and thinner bench, but that was also a hard first furniture project with many bumps and learning from mistakes along the way. I got it done and it's functional. :)

Great bench; I am just about to start mine. I made the sawhorses already. Mine are pretty bad, I didn't do a good job picking out the wood, and it had a lot of knots and checks. Lesson learned, and I'll do better on the bench.
