The car itself is actually quite nice and aggressive. Many criticize the choice of electric, but it’s important to remember that this is not driven by Stellantis but by European policy. This doesn’t seem to be clear to everyone: due to fines for selling combustion engine vehicles, it’s more profitable to close production than to continue making these cars. I don’t agree with the policy of erasing the unique characteristics of each brand in favor of a single-everything—from the platform to the engine, whether electric or combustion (the now infamous three-cylinder PureTech... what a shame, with FCA’s beautiful four-cylinder FireFly in-house...) but these companies are trying to stay afloat. We should be protesting in Brussels instead!
