We rented a four door Jeep and drove the road to Hana and beyond! It took virtually a full day to make the trip to Wailea. Absolutely a life experience! The worse part was when the road turned back to pavement, for miles nothing but hundreds of bumps for miles as we traveled. I’m sure I heard some hardware fall off of our rental Jeep! Lol

We are taking a Hawaiian cruise in a week and doing a Private Halfway to Hana tour, since we don't have enough time on the island to do the full road. I'm super excited, we live in Vegas too so cannot wait for the GREEN!

Is there any point at all in us doing any of the Road to Hana if one of us uses a wheelchair? We're adventurous people, but we've got to have paved paths for the chair. Is there something else we should be doing instead? Sitting still isn't fun for us.
