When you get all the videos made on this smoker, put them in a 'play list' for us. (Downloadable Drawings would be a REAL BONUS )

Picked up a couple 100lb propane tanks out of cert which I'm using to build a reverse flow smoker. One is cut open for a cooking chamber, the other is cut lengthwise for the fire box.

Looking forward and paying attention to your detail work on the doors, assembly and other tricks I don't know. Looking forward to upcoming parts.

Welcome to the We're "ALWAYS" on the bottom of the food chain. I've got projects still waiting for him well over 5 years.

Damn, I wish I could go there to have a look but I'm a bit far out in South Africa, Great video's and I learn so much watching this, I'm in the design stage of my own Smoker just doesn't have that much free time. We in South Africa are more into "BRAAI" or like you US guy's say BBQ than we are into Smoking stuff, I would like to finish mine and give it a good test. Keep the good Video coming very enjoyable to watch.

Could you drill the bug hole out to clean it then go in with Tig to fill it? If so it seems like it would save a lot of time.

Hot Tack? What does the hammering do that the shrinking of the weld itself doesn't do on its own? I mean I love using my hammer, its my favorite tool and I jump at the chance to use it even for no reason at all, but I'm curious what the tap of the hammer does to the contracting weld. Are you trying to pop a bow back in? I'd love to see it if you have it on tape or haven't done it yet and can get it on tape.

I've got to make me one of those smokers. Besides it will give me an excuse to use my powerimig welder some more.

Great video. What was your reasoning for welding downhill on this? I would have chosen to go horizontal simply because you can position the piece easily

Did you cut that door out with a plasma cutter? I couldn't figure out how you got the fit so tight

Hey Mr.Moffet...i don't mind driveing up to ark city I'm hour half away. If that smoker needs a new home...have a good day weekend. My son does same thing from time to time.

Bob, another great video. Question, would mig pulse keep the heat down when you were welding the sides? Smoker looks great.

That fit is hard to do I got about 2 years under my belt and you will likely warp a few of them the bad part is they cost a lot just my fire box came out to a few hundred dollars just for the steel and the tread he used in this video cost way more then the smoke chamber and the racks with paint and you have made a substantial investment.

Father and son. There is usually a season of rebellion. He does not appreciate your humor like I do, can I call you Dad?
