The first of Cutmaster Swift's three UK championships. Swift would go on to defend his title in '89, and then emerge from retirement in '96 to lift the domestic belt for a then-record 3rd time.

Swifty is a legend and unfortunately too many people watch that one performance from 89' world finals which doesn't do him or his skills any justice. To give some context back in the day, especially in London, it was about showmanship and hyping the crowd because the majority of the crowd didn't comprehend the techniques. This set shows skills, musicality, craft and showmanship! Swifty you will always be a legend to those that know!

The Sos Band - Just the way you like it .. routine is a slower variation of " the copycat routine " which Cj Mackintosh showcased in Dmc World finals 1987
