Zebra doesn’t necessarily show you what’s over exposed. You can choose the value you want covered. In your video it indicated 70 so it’s going to show 70% grey which is approx. Caucasian skin tone. Setting it to 100+ will show you blown out areas.
I’ve found the My Menu function helpful. I’ve put some of the things which are buried in the menus there. Eg., I can access Shutter When Powered Off quickly there as I only enable that when I change lenses. Once you set up some functions on My Menu, it also is always the first thing to appear when you press the menu button.
The menu items I have in My Menu are: tracking sensitivity, finder frame rate, aspect ratio, auto review, anti dust function, and emphasised REC display.
I have my C1 button set on eye subject because I sometimes shoot birds.

Can we get a video of how you take portraits? Like ISO you would use in certain areas. How you would underexpose and overexpose. Basically following that up with how your presets work with those tips.

i mean, you can set picture profile to off but at creative look you have to choose one mandatory???

New to Sony and the autofocus settings were confusing. This is a great method I’ll use. Works for the way I shoot… on the D500, I used single spot continuous and the back focus button only to recompose and shoot. Will require some relearning. Thanks for this. So helpful!

How do I get a exposure compensation scale -2-10+1+2 like canon on monitor display? I guess I saw it on one of your video. I think its on R6 vs A74 comparison video i saw a glimpse.I cannot find it anywhere. Great video!!

Just picked up my first Sony being the a74 last night, coming from a Nikon d7200 this is going to be fun to get used to a completely different menu and camera.

How would you compare the A7IV to the R6? I know you shoot canon but I’m curious which you would choose had you be coming from say, Nikon?
