Having taller sticks on a controller was/is super popular for FPS games. I remember adding control freaks on old Xbox controllers to raise the stick when I played professional COD.

There are two versions of the controller, that I know of. The V2 version is much better, with several changes to it, including mechanical switches for ABXY. I would assume Amazon has the V2 version, because the ad mentions those, and the faster polling rate .
