Omg. I have to leave a comment.
1. Mighty Muffler did a custom exhaust on my first S13/240sx in the early 2000s
2. I'm thinking of buying a Z4 coupe and was looking at exhaust clips and this one sounds THE BEST. The crackle/pops between shifts is what I want and don't want that Honda-inline 4 sound I've heard on other videos
3. Manual FTMFW.

I worked with a great muffler guy in Douglasville Georgia in an effort to replicate this sound. He had to order the Magnaflow muffler I wanted so he went ahead and took the stock muffler off and added straight pipes in its place. The sound was great under acceleration but was annoying at cruising speeds. When the Magnaflow muffler came it was too wide to fit in the tunnel up toward the center of the car so we ended up putting glasspack bullets in that region, one on each pipe. The sound with that configuration is very similar to the one in the video and I am quite happy with it. Happily enough, the whole thing only cost me $180.

You have to look on Magna flows website for the dimensions of the muffler

The muffler was placed up where the resonators were located.. Its in the center of the car
