Όπως αναφέρουν Ισραηλινά μέσα ενημέρωσης, το συμβούλιο ασφαλείας του Ισραήλ, που πραγματοποιούσε σύσκεψη σήμερα το απόγευμα, αποφάσισε να προχωρήσει σε κατάπαυση του πυρός, η οποία θα ξεκινήσει από την Παρασκευή στις 2μμ.
Όπως φαίνεται ήταν μία δύσκολη απόφαση καθώς υπήρξαν μεγάλες πιέσεις, προς τον πρωθυπουργό Μπενιαμίν Νετανιάχου, από το εσωτερικό της χώρας, να μην προχωρήσει σε μία τέτοια κίνηση.
Παρόλα αυτά, αποφασίστηκε η κατάπαυση, μετά από 11 ημέρες σφοδρών συγκρούσεων.

According to Israeli media, the Israeli Security Council, which was meeting this afternoon, decided to proceed to a ceasefire, which will begin on Friday at 2pm.
It seems to have been a difficult decision as there was a lot of pressure on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from inside the country not to make such a move.
Nevertheless, a ceasefire was decided after 11 days of fierce fighting.

Καλό νέο. Δεν ξέρω ποιος έχει δίκιο, δεν ξέρω ποιος έχει κέρδος από τις μάχες και τα τύφλα χτυπήματα, ξέρω και ξέρουμε ποιοι την πληρώνουν, οι άμαχοι κι απ τις δύο πλευρές.
