Sep.07 -- Helen Qiao, head of Asia Pacific economics and chief Greater China economist at BofA Global Research, discusses the state of the world's second-largest economy, its outlook and the government's policies. China’s export growth unexpectedly surged in August, with port disruptions due to fresh outbreaks of the delta virus having limited impact on trade. Exports rose 25.6% in dollar terms from a year earlier, while imports grew 33.1%. Qiao speaks on "Bloomberg Markets: Asia."

Decouple my arse, LMAO. Factories aren't built in a month or two, not even a year or two, and if your production is not as efficient and as low cost before, you can't suddenly become efficient and low cost just because you said so.

WHOEVER THAT'S READING THIS, I PRAY THAT ONE DAY YOU WILL REACH YOUR DREAMS.
ALWAYS KNOW THAT THE SECRET OF YOUR FUTURE IS HIDDEN IN YOUR DAILY ROUTINE. SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE DO DAILY WHAT THE UNSUCCESSFUL DO ONLY ON OCCASIONALLY. That's why the rich invest and the poor don't.

Lol. As I said, the REAL ECONOMY is STRONG as ever in CHINA while the regulators literally cleansing any risk and overspeculation in several sectors.

The problem is rather simple, while you have been trying every possible way to force China became your worst enemy but then you have absolutely no single clues of your “enemy” beside lies, propaganda, and blind hatred that you made for yourself.
Chinese? We will just watch and smile
Then tell you: everything you have said is correct…

I made today's prediction 20 years ago: China is about to collapse.
Yes, I am a China expert in the West.

This is unexpected because the west is expecting both imports and exports contraction.

Always worry about China tanking. How about tackling your homeless people living in tent in the land of the Mohicans /Apache.

Good interview with some content, the two thing point I have different opinion is the CNY and liqudity.
1. CNY, there are and will be a huge demand of CNY due to the default debt as said, and no the goverment are not likely to come out to lower interests rate as inflation is higher in priority then liquidity at the moment. A matter of benefiting the 1% or the 99% and China at this moment has choosen 99% of the population.
2. The current policy is to resolve insolvence and zombie corp, so to provide liqudity or any monetary easing defies the purpose.

$677 billion surplus for 2021. What is china going to do with all that cash. $100 billion for space exploration.
$100 billion for military
$100 billion for HSR
$100 billion for Affordable housing
....

1. the china number is good, not great, given commodity price
2. property price will benefit from additional liquidity, but restruction will not be eased
3. the claim that china gpd will fall in 4th quarter seem baseless

bridgewater might have got it right afterall.
