What did the Supreme Court say about VVPATs and EVMs?

The Supreme Court on April 16 ruled out returning to ballot papers by saying the judges “have not forgotten” the past. The petitions sought cross-verification of votes cast with the VVPAT system, questioning the accuracy of the current voting system through Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). Why are people in power unable to decide what is good for democracy.

In the last elections I saw the VVPAT slip matching the party I voted. So why Congress is making a mountain out of a moul. They won so many state elections, was it rigged by Congress? Such Hypocrites !!

Whether ballot papers voting or EVM machine. Don't blame machines or ballot paper. Majority voters decide which party to rule India. There is no such solid ballot system in the world. Even ballot paper systems were accused of abusing. Parties need to work hard to win elections?
