WebEVTalk 096 Koji Ueda (Project Leader, Cancer Precision Medicine Center, Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research, Tokyo, Japan) discusses his work on the use of Extracellular Vesicles (EVs) for cancer diagnosis. Based on the leading-edge mass spectrometric techniques, his lab analyzed various clinical specimens collected in the hospital of their institute. The team recently isolated EVs directly from resected fresh tissues and found potential EV protein biomarkers for early cancer detection through proteomic analysis.
