Hey, I'm sorry about the previous comment. I'm just so mad that one person can ruin my life so much. But on the bright side, PlanetSide 2 is free, so I still have that to comfort me every night while I wallow in my depression.

Edit: as of now, one of the 100 scratch tickets I bought gave me some money, so that I can buy more v-bucks for my poor nephew.

PS2 does have a good engine in place for... "Massive Clash" style of gameplay. PS2 always felt under appreciated for what it is, a really big war game. I don't think something like Fortnite should be making big bucks while PS2 is going under the radar despite all the hard work put into it.

I thought this might be a good idea at first, but the fact that it's $20 up front just kills it. I already paid a good bit of money into Planetside 2 and had a fair amount of fun in the past. I'm not going to throw them $20 for literally just some game modes. I mean... seriously? It's just game modes.... Even EA has enough sense to include the all other game modes with the game now...

Okay, so I just gave the money I got from the scratch ticket to my nephew so he can buy a new fortnite skin. He was so happy to get a new fortnite skin, and he got 1st place in the first game with the new skin. At this point, I do not care if my life is shattered ruins on a lonely highway, the moment I see my nephew's face light up is truly wonderful. I just wish he didnt take all my money and force me to sell most of my clothes and bed.

I never got real into Ps2 but always thought about trying it again. If this is a new game, I'll most likely jump in on it. Might even download PS2 for practice.

This seems like a poor decision.

The whole draw of Planetside is that you're fighting perpetual massive battles over the entire planet. I don't think downscaling it is going to work out well. I loved the game back in the day, but I also don't think PS2 has good enough gunplay to survive on a smaller scale compared to other FPS games designed around small-scale combat.

That’s one way to avoid fixing the main game. Hope it works, I still want to love planetside but the puss poor base design and tank-cannon-Door-spam turned a clunky but glorious original game into a messy and repetitive pay to skip(to the best sequel.
