2025 BMW M5: POV Start Up, Test Drive, Walkaround and Review

👋 In todays review we take a look at the all new and redesigned 2025 BMW M5! This model is now soley a plug in hybrid and combined with the twin turbo V8, this pumps out some serious power! The 2025 BMW M5 has the ability to run off of just the electric system and go around 25 miles, but also features regenerative braking to help charge while driving. The exterior for the all new 2025 BMW M5 has a bold new look! I personally think it looks great and a much needed update! The exterior styling isn't too far off from the previous generation and for not being much bigger in the dimensions, the overall shape makes it look more muscular. The interior for this 2025 BMW M5 has the new updates from BMW with the large screen, flat bottom design for the steering wheel and a bunch of interior lighting. There's also a bunch of driving modes including fully electric, to full power!
Driving the 2025 BMW M5 is great! It's a smooth vehicle to drive, quiet and comfortable. The one drawback is the huge increase in weight over the previous generation and most of that is due to the hybrid system. While I didn't do any performance driving today, for normal day to day driving, it seems like a quick and performance oriented sedan. Doing high speed performance driving will be a different story so maybe at some point I'll be able to test the performance. Overall, I think this is a great new generation for the BMW M5 and has a lot to offer!

I love the M series. Perhaps the M3 is more my style with lighter weight and lesser price. This one seems to be a super powerful GT type of car.
