At his absolute peak, Ozil was better than Rosicky imo. 15/16 Ozil was unplayable, so so good. Would’ve broken the assist record, won the league, and won Player of the Year if Arsenal had a reliable striker that season.

It's cos Jack thought he would be the successor to Fabregas. He wanted to be the main playmaker, he was coming into that age. But then Wenger signed Ozil, not only did he take that no. 10 spot... but he also took the no. 10 shirt off Jack. That was the symbolic gesture that Ozil will be the main man and not Jack... they played well together tbh... also injuries were a big issue for Jack.
