This game was like my entire childhood, my love for the star wars movies brought me into empire at war. I loved the game for years, I even have a copy to my right right now :)

I noticed 2 things that weren't mentioned in the video... first, the ground combat seems to be significantly faster paced compared to the original. Which is so great!! The original game's ground combat could get boring pretty fast, but this looks a lot more fun. Second, the 501st troop models are VERY identical to the clone trooper models used in Star Wars Battlefront 2. That put a huge smile on my face. It's awesome to see that this team has taken bits of inspiration from these other Star Wars games. I look forward to playing this! And definitely to the coming let's play of it as well!

Just so you know, the ARC-170 is a fighter bomber, it replaces the first bomber at higher tech levels. On ground, dig in with as many turrets as possible and just throw the free units at them so the turrets can finish them off. Hope this helps.

No one messes with the 501st! Got to love those Battlefront 2 days! And I am rather surprised that Delta Squad is in there, that is pretty amazing :D

bombers are VERY important. in the vanilla game i was able to take out the home one with only a level two station and 5 squads of bombers and a corvette (and some x wings of course), and while that always requires a shit ton of micro managing

Clone commandos are my favorite of anything out of the entire Star Wars universe, if only there was an Omega squad in this as well as Delta squad.

In my opinion the best Star Wars Empire At War: Forces of Corruption mods are: Legacy Era: Second Imperial Civil War and Thrawn's Revenge. These two mods seem to have the most polish, variety between the factions and otherwise seem to be incredibly more professional. But, eh its all taste, I guess?

Correction about the video author said: You can't play CC via multiplayer. Only skirmish. I tried playing GG with a friend and the game just crashed. I hear this might be addressed in the future.
