Definitely an interesting idea but lets be honest there is no way this is going to ever be mainstream. Probably a good amount of reviewers will make videos about this and maybe a couple consumers who got money laying around will get one just cause but that's about it. Props to Acer for trying new things though.

This Acer Predator Project Dualplay is essentially Razer Project Linda but Razer used their Razer phone as the dock

Laptop is killer love predator products. Im curious how that will effect battery life. Battery life on gaming laptops are always poor but that sits right where the battery would go usually. Is cooling effected at all acer's cooling is usually one of the best.

That controller would only be cool if the middle piece also doubled as a screen Almost like a rog ally the laptop would be the lower house and the controller the monitor.

The controller should be a standalone pc gaming handheld and the laptop should be a docking station with an e gpu inside of it

It's something i was just thinking today, lice the price many handhelds are becoming, like OnexPlayer and Ayaneo, you would be better of with and actual gaming Laptop with a controller, even the screens on handheld devices are increasing, so a Laptop with an RTX or something built in, even the laptop one's are way better then a 780m and others that today are being shipped with.

Joycons? They are gonna fail before razer stuff (assuming these custom ones have stick drift like the normal ones)

Doesn't need the joycons, those could have stay as a regular controller but maybe it's because of the ergonomics, maybe they have a better grip for it, I'd still rather use the ps4 controller 😉 😜

Personally, I don't like it at all and I would go for another brand because of it. Everyone can buy the joystick that suits them best.

I will NEVER buy another controller with detachable Joy Con like features after the hot garbage that the first gen Switch was. I still want my money back lol
