I love how we are so used to effects that get cards from deck saying "except [this card]" that some of us assume it exists even when it's absent from the effect.

I don't think Halq is really _necessary_ for the deck, but it was really nice for getting names into rotation and setting up a Shooting Riser (or sometimes Quandax).

I think that Crystron Halq will come back to 1 on the next OCG banlist with an errata because the support suspiciously does not say that you can only summon synchro machine monsters but only locked in machine monsters.

The time has come & so have Crystrons.
They finally have a spell, a good spell!

But at the same time I must ask, Mr. Konami where is our “Machine Synchros”?
The year is 2024 there is no way we can compete with a 2020 endboard

ive played crystons since they came out, the lack of machine synchros are WILD. the ones we do have are like Genex locked, SHS are wonky (except stealth ninja), gotta play main deck karakuri/F.A. cards (except dragster), or just beatsticks that are meh to use outside of their archetype (tech genus).
ive been having fun playing them with icejade recently tho...

Insane cards in a really bad archetype, even with halq unban it wont do nothing, the lack of good machine Synchro is a problem, end board is a joke for today's standar
